Kam is currently the CFO of Summit, An Earth Services Company that provides Environmental Engineering, Consulting and Decommissioning Services to organizations in Western Canada, US and Australia. He has direct responsibility for all Corporate Services functions including HR, Payroll & Benefits, HSE, IT, Accounting, Legal Contracts, and Corporate Development. He also serves on multiple private company, JV boards and helps in driving effective Governance practices in his role.
Prior to joining the Private Sector, Kam served as an Executive in the Financial Services Industry and has worked in multiple cities across Canada. During his Financial Services career, Kam was fortunate to work with SME, Public and Multinational Corporates that operated in diverse industries. Kam worked on multiple M&A financing mandates – domestic and cross-border with both Strategic & Financial buyers interested in acquiring companies in Canada & abroad.
Kam is active in the not-for-profit sector and currently serves on the Audit & Risk Committee for Calgary Homeless Foundation (CHF). He was previously a member of ACG Chapters in Calgary, Edmonton and also served on the Loan Review Committee for CYBF in Calgary. He joined FEI in early 2020 just before the start of the Pandemic. He is looking to engage, contribute, share and learn from other FEI members across Canada.
