Markus is CFO of Miltenyi Biotec North America, a global provider in biomedical research and cellular therapy. Markus’ prior experience includes Managing Director USA and CFO Americas with a world leader in developing, manufacturing and distributing formwork technology, used for residential and commercial high rises, bridges, tunnels, power plants and mining, Director Financial Control & Shared Services North America with a publicly listed multinational technology group and Consultant with the International Finance Corporation, the largest international financial institution focused on the private sector in developing countries, part of the World Bank Group. During and following his graduate studies Markus received scholarships from and consulted with Goldman Sachs and McKinsey.
He has been a member of FEI Canada since 2013 and is currently a member of the Corporate Reporting Committee and was a National Board Director from 2014 to 2016. Markus past and current board memberships include private companies, educational institutions and professional associations.
Markus joined FEI PCC to share his varied and international experience in high-tech, automotive, construction, biotech / pharma and private equity, where he held positions that combine the traditional CFO function with Operations and Support and he drove business transformations of high-growth businesses, as well as restructuring mandates.
